Hey, I’m Justin.
I grew up near Tacoma, Washington. For a long time, I thought work had to mean a desk, a long drive, and two short weeks off each year. Then I began taking small freelance jobs after work. Those tiny projects changed what I thought was possible.
A trip through Thailand in 2018 gave me the last push. I loved the early street markets, slow train rides, and café tables where a full workday could happen with one bag and a steady connection. Chiang Mai is now my home base. I also spend time in Bangkok, on the islands, and back with family in the Pacific Northwest.
Why I made this site
Life of Justin is for people who want more room in their week. You may want to earn from a side project. You may want to work from another country. Or maybe you just want a travel card or backpack that does what it says.
I read product terms, check current facts, compare real costs, and study what users report in public forums. I turn that research into short, plain guides. When I have direct evidence, I say so. When a point comes from research, I make that clear too.
